Shanghai MAC is a leading Ultrasonic Smart Water Meter manufacturer and supplier.
Ultrasonic smart water meter is a flow‑measuring instrument for tap‑water metering, operating based on ultrasonic time‑difference principle. It contains ultrasonic transducers, built‑in lithium battery, remote communication module and control valve. This product is applied for water consumption measurement in residential buildings, commercial complexes, urban water supply pipe networks and rural water‑supply projects. It solves common drawbacks of traditional mechanical water meters: measurement drift caused by mechanical component wear, heavy workload of on‑site manual reading, and failure to detect hidden pipeline water leakage. Without rotating mechanical parts inside, the meter keeps stable reading after long‑term running. Remote signal transmission allows water‑supply departments to collect consumption data remotely and trigger valve cut‑off or leakage warning, reducing water loss and on‑site labour work.

Packaging of Ultrasonic Smart Water Meter:
Standard Packaging
Each ultrasonic smart water meter is wrapped with protective PE film and secured with foam end caps to protect transducer and thread interface. Meters are placed into individual foam‑lined inner boxes. Multiple inner boxes are packed into reinforced export cartons with foam filling to prevent shaking and collision. All cartons are fixed with steel straps and placed on fumigated wooden pallets for international shipment.
Shipping
We support FCL and LCL sea freight, air freight and express delivery depending on order quantity and destination. Available trade terms include EXW / FOB / CIF. Other terms may be available upon request. Shipping costs are calculated based on cargo volume, gross weight, destination and selected transportation method.
Lead Time
Samples: 10-15 working days
Standard orders: 15–25 working days
Customized orders: 25–40 working days

Q1: How long does sample preparation take?
A: Sample preparation for ultrasonic smart water meter takes 10 working days after confirming diameter and communication mode.
Q2: What information do you need for a custom quotation?
A: We need nominal diameter, body material, communication mode, project installation environment and order quantity for quotation.
Q3: What is the MOQ and production lead time?
A: MOQ is 10 pieces. Standard orders take 15‑25 working days; customized orders take 25‑40 working days.
Q4: What quality standards does this product follow?
A: It complies with national GB/T standard for ultrasonic water meters and relevant communication protocol specifications for smart metering devices.
Q5: What is the difference between ultrasonic smart water meter and traditional mechanical water meter?
A: Traditional mechanical meters rely on impeller rotation and suffer accuracy decline from long‑time abrasion. Ultrasonic type has no moving parts and keeps stable precision; meanwhile it supports remote reading and leakage warning function which mechanical meters cannot achieve.
Q6: Which factors need to be considered for site installation?
A: Confirm pipe nominal diameter, water medium cleanliness, buried depth, surrounding signal strength for communication modules, and avoid strong external vibration near the meter body.
