POE adhesive film is a core auxiliary material used for packaging solar photovoltaic modules, belonging to polyolefin elastomer adhesive film. It is located between the cover glass/back plate and the battery chip, and mainly plays the role of protecting the battery chip, extending the service life of the module and improving the power generation efficiency. Its water vapor barrier, volume resistivity and anti-aging properties are superior to the traditional EVA adhesive film. With the rapid development of double-sided double glass components and N-type battery technology, the demand for POE adhesive film has grown rapidly due to its more suitable performance, and the market penetration rate has significantly increased. The localization process of its production is currently accelerating, and large-scale production of POE resin has been achieved domestically. POE film is considered as the next generation photovoltaic packaging technology to replace EVA film. Its market penetration rate soared from less than 5% in 2020 to 42% in 2025, becoming one of the key materials for photovoltaic module.
